Inspired by the vivid landscapes of my imagination, Allegory of Garden explores the place where light and dark meet. Fruit, flowers, and earthly delights converge in a series of dreamlike scenes, where life exists in a delicate dance between beauty and decay.
In each piece, 20th-century botanics are married with photographic silhouettes, set against soft watercolour backgrounds. Together, they form paradisical gardens where disparate elements unite, take root, and begin to blossom in unexpected ways.
Both in humanity and nature, an inherent beauty and resilience can be found. Just as a garden evolves, our lives are marked by periods of growth, change, and renewal. Each artwork in Allegory of Garden embodies this delicate balance, capturing moments of serenity and beauty intertwined with the quiet power of transformation.
