THE FIRST BURN • When lighting an OLIVE & CO candle for the first time, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of the jar. This will prevent tunnelling, and create an even burn for the duration of the candle’s ‘life’. Burn for 2-3 hours each time you light the candle. This will help the candle burn evenly. TRIM YOUR WICKS • Remember to trim wicks to 5mm before each burn for a clean burn every time. You can use scissors or a specialised wick trimmer – but no matter what you do, always trim… SAFETY • Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
