The Children’s Collage Club offers a 5-week creative journey into the world of collage art. Starting with an introduction to collage techniques, young artists progress through pen and ink with found objects, mixed media exploration, and planning larger projects. The workshop culminates in the completion of a significant collage piece, fostering creativity and artistic skills throughout the process. Each week builds upon the last, providing a comprehensive and engaging experience in collage-making for children.

What will you learn:
Children’s Collage Club: A Creative Journey
This 5-week workshop introduces young artists to the exciting world of collage, combining various materials and techniques to create unique artworks.
Week 1: Introduction to Collage
– Explore the concept of collage
– Engage in a brief discussion about collage art
– Create a mini collage project using selected materials
Week 2: Free Form – Pen and Ink with Objects
– Learn pen and ink techniques
– Incorporate objects into artwork
Week 3: Mixed Media Exploration
– Focus on paper shapes and textures
– Combine pen and ink with other mediums
Week 4: Planning a Larger Project
– Begin research for a more extensive collage piece
– Start working on a bigger artwork
Week 5: Finalizing Artwork
– Complete the larger collage project
– Showcase and celebrate finished pieces
This workshop encourages creativity, experimentation, and artistic growth through hands-on activities and guided instruction.

Age Requirements
- Minimum age for participants is 7 years unless accompanied by an adult.

Course Fees and Payment
- This course is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend due to double booking, sickness, etc., you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member.
- The price includes UV resin to make 6 pieces of jewellery, including pendant settings and earrings. Please note that chains and necklaces for pendants are not supplied.

- We reserve the right to cancel the workshop with a refund or reschedule if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
- In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, venue issues), participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a refund or rescheduled date.

- Participants are required to follow all safety instructions provided during the workshop.
- Please inform the instructor of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect participation.

- Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly. Disruptive behavior may result in being asked to leave the workshop without a refund.

- All materials and supplies provided are to be used during the workshop only.
- Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.

- Photos and/or videos may be taken during the classes for social media and advertising purposes. If you do not wish to be in photos or videos, please inform Donna before the classes start.
