After experiencing the healing power of probiotics for her own health, Hana, founder of Ethos & Co has spent three years researching the unique skin-improving benefits of hand-fermented coconut oil from Cambodia. With deep roots in the country since 2009, she & husband Gerard teamed up with a local artisan producer, recently validating the oil’s unique living cultures.

Applying biological knowledge gained from her healthcare degree, she did a deep dive into skin microbiome science. This opened up a whole new unseen world of microorganisms, sparking an interest in probiotics as the future of skincare.
