Carrie has been a printmaker from an early age, always experimenting and playing with processes, breaking with tradition and exploring new ways of making. Her formal art training was at The University of Westminster, London, where she received a BA(Hons) Illustration.
Her current work marries her love for the outdoors with an innovative print process. Essentially a one of a kind printed painting (Monotype), with a hand drawn image screen printed over the top.
Inspired by bush walks in Aotearoa, she uses fresh, playful colour and is always striving to produce unique prints that capture the magic of NZ flora.
Carrie regularly exhibits at The NZ Art Show, and has taken part in numerous exhibitions around New Zealand, Australia and UK
